When a case is registered for collection with CSA, your payment period is usually monthly and you are then required to make direct payments to CSA by the seventh day of each month.
If you choose to pay child support for a different payment period, such as weekly or fortnightly, you are required to make direct payments to CSA by the seventh day after the end of the chosen period.
When these payments are received before the seventh day of the month, the receiving parent will receive the payment on the third Wednesday of each month.
When these payments are received after the seventh day of the month, the receiving parent will receive the payment on any day after the third Wednesday until the first Wednesday of the following month.
If your case is private collect see How do I manage private collect for more information on your payment options.
