CSAonline for parents and carers
CSAonline offers you a range of convenient child support services when and where it suits you. It’s quick, easy and secure, giving you more choice and saving you time.
What you can do in CSAonline:
- check your latest account information
- view and update your personal details
- check when payments are due and how much
- access most CSA letters
- tell us about changes in the care you have for your children
- tell us about changes to your income
- complete a general enquiry form to get in touch with us.
How to enrol
You will need your 12-digit customer reference number, which you can find on any mail you’ve received from us, then follow these steps:
- go to CSAonline
- select ‘Login to CSAonline’ button
- select ‘Enrol online’
- answer some questions to confirm your identity
- enter and confirm your CSAonline password
- enter your email address
- consider and accept the terms and conditions.
International customers
CSAonline services and enrolment procedures for parents who live overseas are different. Contact us on +61 131 272 or +61 3 6216 0864 (international call charges apply) to register.

australia.gov.au
australia.gov.au has been developed to make it easier for you to do your online business with government. You can use the site to find information on all major government initiatives, contact government and access some government Online Services.
By registering for an australia.gov.au account, you will be able to link your Child Support Agency (CSA), Centrelink and Medicare Australia Online Services accounts. This means you will be able to access your Online Services accounts with just one user ID and password.
Registering and linking accounts
You may see links to australia.gov.au while using your Online Services accounts. You can register and link your accounts by simply following the prompts.
You can also register for an australia.gov.au account from the CSA homepage by selecting ‘www.australia.gov.au’ on the top right hand corner of the page, then selecting the ‘Register now’ button on the following page. From here you will be asked to fill in your details. Once you have your registration number you can link your Online Services accounts.
Already registered?
If you have already registered for an australia.gov.au account and linked your accounts, you can log on from the CSA homepage by selecting the australia.gov.au option above the logon button.
