The Child Support Agency is tendering for Change of Assessment Senior Case Officer services, General Manager Matt Miller announced today.
Mr Miller said the Agency, which is part of the Department of Human Services, is looking for caring professionals who can work with child support legislation, family and administrative law in cities and regional centres across Australia.
"Each year the CSA makes thousands of decisions to change the assessments of Australian separated parents in special circumstances," Mr Miller said.
"In special circumstances, separated parents can apply for changes to their child support payments to reflect their unique situation. These decisions can have a big impact on the finances of parents and their children."
Senior Case Officers are contracted to assess changes of assessment and make administrative decisions about child support assessments for parents in special circumstances.
These service providers will be expected to analyse complex documents and arrangements, have proven decision-making skills, a sound grasp of Administrative Law, Child Support legislation and relevant Family Law. They are also expected to provide high quality customer service.
Individuals and organisations are encouraged to tender; organisations who tender need to submit nominated personnel to the tender panel to see if they meet the criteria.
The tender is planned for release in March and the documents will include a comprehensive explanation of the role, the requirements and the evaluation criteria.
Documents will be made available on Government tender website Aus Tender https://www.tenders.gov.au.
