School holiday activities for you and the kids
4 OctoberSpend some time during these school holidays building your relationship with your kids. Kids can face unique challenges during family separation. The CSA and beyondblue have partnered to develop a dedicated online resource for teenagers sharing stories, tips and strategies for dealing with separation. It’s great for games and activities and even has an area for grownups.

Now available: useful factsheets in French, German, Italian and Spanish if you or the other parent lives overseas
18 JulyOur new factsheets for parents who need to manage their child support arrangements when one parent doesn’t live in Australia are available to read online in French, German, Italian and Spanish. The factsheets will help you understand our arrangements with other countries, how child support is worked out and transferred, how payments are made and received, our collection methods and your options if you don’t agree.
You can read the English versions of the factsheets online or order free copies.
NAIDOC Week 3–10 July
3 JulyNAIDOC week is an opportunity to celebrate Australia's rich Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
The CSA has a website with dedicated information and support for Indigenous families experiencing separation. www.indigenous.csa.gov.au includes tips on how to register for child support, working with Centrelink and support services. You can also find out more by reading our publications for separated Indigenous families.

Support for men coping with their separation
15 JuneThe CSA and MensLine Australia are working together to support men when they separate. As we mark Men's Health Week from 13-19 June, it's important that dads know help is available. Visit www.mensline.org.au or call 1300 78 99 78 for counselling and information. You can also order a range of CSA publications online.

30 MayEmployers have a pool of online resources available to them 24/7. The CSA website has information on child support deductions, frequently asked questions, employer responsibilities and more. Calculators, guides and other online tools are also made available here.

New products support children whose family is separating
30 MayTwo new products are available for children whose parents are separating or separated — an activity book, Our family's changed for five to seven year olds, and a game on CD-ROM, A kid's guide to changing families for eight to 12 year olds.
The products help children understand separation and the various emotions associated with it. They aim to reassure children that they are not alone; what they are thinking or feeling is okay and, most importantly, it is not their fault.
The products are free and available for ordering online.

Information Publication Scheme
21 April
The Human Services Portfolio Information Publication Scheme plan is now available. It provides you with access to information about the Human Services Portfolio.
The Disclosure Log publishes documents released in response to Freedom of Information requests through the Department of Human Services, including Child Support Agency, Centrelink, Medicare Australia, CRS Australia and Australian Hearing.

New website for children and teens
4 AprilA revamped youth.csa.gov.au website is available and provides new resources to help children and teens through their parents' separation.
The youth focused website features brighter colours, new functions and innovative products
Products available on the site include the story/activity book, Our family's changed for five to seven year olds, a game called A kid's guide to changing families for eight to 12 year olds and the booklet Family Separation: A guide for teens to help teenagers cope with separation.
A new video is also available on the on the youth website. The video shows kids playing the CD-ROM game and reading the book with their parents. It also explains the benefits of each product and their role in helping children deal with their parents' separation.
