The new Guide contains legal and policy information about how the child support scheme will operate from 1 July 2008. The current Guide explains the scheme until 30 June 2008.

Between March and mid-May 2008, all CSA customers will receive a new child support assessment, which will apply from 1 July 2008. Detailed information about the changes is now available.

CSA customers will receive their new child support assessments between Monday 3 March and mid May. These take effect from 1 July 2008 when the new Child Support Scheme begins.

From Monday 3 March, CSA will write to people who have care of a child but are not their parent (non-parent carers) advising them of changes to the Child Support Scheme starting 1 July 2008.
