FAQ: What if I don’t agree with CSA’s care decision?
If you disagree with the information we have about your care arrangements, or if your circumstances change at any time, you will need to contact us and update your details to reflect your current situation.
Alternatively, if we have your correct details and you still do not agree with a CSA decision you can object in writing or by email. If CSA has made a decision on your objection and you still disagree, you may apply to the Social Security Appeals Tribunal (SSAT).
The SSAT cannot consider an appeal until CSA has considered and notified you of the result of your objection. In some cases you can apply to the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) and/or apply to a court.
Use our care estimator to work out how much care you have of your children, or to update your details you should contact CSA on 131 272. Further information about care, including tables and worksheets are now available.
