FAQ: Is it true the CSA is going to outsource debt collection?
New legislation now gives the Department of Human Services the option to outsource some child support activities such as debt collection to external providers. This approach will complement rather than replace Child Support existing debt collection arrangements.
The new legislation will not compromise customer privacy. External collection staff will be required to meet the same security procedures as Child Support staff.
