FAQ: How do I work out how much care I have of my children?
There is a care estimator available to help you work out how much care you have of your children.
Care is generally worked out over the coming twelve months, regardless of when the child support period starts. All you will need to do is enter today’s date and the number of nights the children are in your care over the next twelve months. The estimator can tell you the total number of nights of care, the care percentage and the child support care level. A calendar is also available on the page to make it easier to work out when you have the children over a year.
It may also be useful to use the care estimator before accessing the child support and family assistance estimator.
