What is CSAonline?

CSAonline is a secure online service available from the Child Support Agency’s home page (www.csa.gov.au). It’s a convenient way to provide information to CSA and lets you do most of your child support business online rather than by post, phone, fax or email.

What this means for you

It’s now easier to get in touch with CSA when and where it suits you. CSAonline is quick, flexible and convenient and saves you time on the telephone.

You can:

Reasons for changes to amounts paid can be easily selected from a drop down menu called ‘variation reason’ to save you time and reduce the number of phone calls from CSA.

CSAonline will confirm we have received information you send and the date you sent it.

What you need to do to enrol

  1. Phone CSAonline Help Desk on 1800 637 445 and tell us that you want to enrol
  2. We will ask you some questions to confirm your identity
  3. CSA will give you a temporary password and advice about how to login
  4. CSA will send you an email when your online account is active (you should not login until this is received)

When you receive your email:

  1. Go to www.csa.gov.au
  2. Select ‘Login to CSAonline’ button
  3. Enter your Child Support Reference Number (CSRN)
  4. Enter and confirm your temporary password.
  5. Agree to the Terms and Conditions.
  6. Enter and confirm your new password

Enrolment is complete. You can now start using CSAonline.

The Australian Government Services Fraud tip-off line

The Australian Government Services Fraud tip-off line provides people with a place to report suspected fraud against Centrelink, Medicare, the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme or the Child Support Agency. If you have information about someone who is mis-using government services, call 131 524.

Call charges may apply to the telephone numbers listed.

Do you need interpreting help?

If you do not speak English and need help from the Child Support Agency, ring the Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS) on +61 131 450 between 8.30am and 4.45pm (local time), Monday to Friday.
