There are a number of ways to pay child support deductions to CSA.
This involves using your existing pay system to send deductions electronically to CSA. This method of payment makes cash management more efficient and provides secure, certain delivery.
To arrange payment through EFT or BPAY, please contact the CSA Payment Enquiry Line on 1800 241 272 and advise CSA that you want to establish EFT or BPAY for CSA payments.
If your payment is accompanied by a Variations to Child Support Deductions form, or information about the break-up of the total deductions for more than one employee, you can still pay using EFT. However, you must mail, fax or email these other details directly to CSA or report the variations using CSAonline.
Post your deductions to CSA with a payment advice slip. Send the deductions to the address shown on the most recent CSA letter sent to you.
When making cheque payments, please make cheques payable to: Child Support Agency.
You can pay at a post office if your payment advice booklet has the message:
'You can pay at any post office or post office agency'.
The date you pay is treated as the date CSA receives the payment. The post office will always give you a receipt for cash payments and, if you request, a receipt for payments by cheque. However, there is a limit of $3000 on cash payments.
If your payment is accompanied by a Variations to Child Support Deductions form and/or information about the break-up of the total deductions for more than one employee, you can still pay at the post office.
