An overview of CSA’s stakeholder engagement

For CSA, stakeholder engagement is about working with a range of different organisations and helping them to support our mutual customers to better support separated and separating parents, and their children.

These interactions can range from providing information about our products and services, right through to working very closely with stakeholders to make decisions about service delivery options – and everything in between.

Engaging with stakeholders to support separated parents and their children is a key driver for CSA. Two of our five corporate goals relate to stakeholder engagement:

Goal 3: Effective stakeholder engagement and referrals

Goal 4: Informed customers and community.

Why does CSA engage with stakeholders

Stakeholders provide a link between CSA and our customers, providing advice and assistance to separated parents, and talking to us about issues and opportunities to improve our service delivery.

CSA works closely with stakeholders, encouraging strong relationships and inviting input from stakeholders into how we can improve our processes and services.

Stakeholders can also help us to develop and test new products and services. The booklet for teenagers, Family separation – a guide for teens (PDF 3.05M) includes input from advocacy groups, psychologists, government agencies, researchers and, of course, teenagers.

The online tool My family is separating - what now? was developed in response to suggestions from the CSA’s national stakeholder group (CSNSEG) for a guide to help families experiencing separation find a path through the family law system.

Who are CSA’s stakeholders?

CSA’s stakeholders are anyone who helps us to support separated and separating parents. Stakeholders can be:
