Formal stakeholder engagement group meeting
CSA conducts a range of stakeholder engagement group meetings where we invite a
cross section of stakeholders to discuss a range of issues.
These meetings are usually held four times a year, both nationally with
the Child Support National Stakeholder Engagement Group (CSNSEG) and in
seven locations across Australia, through the State Child Support
Stakeholder Engagement Groups (state CSSEGs).
CSNSEG
The CSA and the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous
Affairs (FaHCSIA) co-convene the Child Support National Stakeholder Engagement Group (CSNSEG).
This group brings together representative bodies to provide direct advice and formulate
solutions to the issues facing our mutual customers.
Its central purpose is to work collaboratively towards better outcomes for separated
and separating families. The joint engagement with stakeholders aims to minimise
duplication of effort for both government and stakeholder groups and ensure coherent
policies and a coordinated approach to service delivery in child support and related
areas.
Members of CSNSEG are:

State CSSEG
The state Child Support Stakeholder Engagement Groups (CSSEG) are one way that the
CSA actively engages with local government agencies and the many organisations providing
services and support to separated and separating parents and their children.
The CSSEGs provide an opportunity for stakeholders across government, advocacy and
service delivery to discuss child support. Meetings are conducted quarterly, usually
two to four weeks after the CSNSEG date.
