Jurisdictions
Australia has existing child support arrangements with many overseas countries,
referred to as reciprocating jurisdictions.
Some reciprocating jurisdictions can only recognise court orders for child support.
These are known as excluded jurisdictions.
Collecting child support
The CSA’s ability to collect child support can differ depending on whether
a paying parent is in Australia or overseas.
