Income and child support
An Australian child support assessment is based on both parents’ incomes. It does not matter
if you are based in Australia or
overseas you will still need to declare your income. If you have not lodged an Australian tax return
or told us your overseas income, the CSA can ask you or an overseas authority to provide the relevant income
information.
